Content Policy
This page explains what content and wording PaysiteManager stores can't use, why, and what happens when content breaks the rules. It applies to every store on PaysiteManager.
Why these rules exist
Every sale on your store is a card payment, mostly Visa and Mastercard. Both card networks have strict rules for adult websites, and our payment processors have to follow them to keep taking card payments for every store on PaysiteManager.
This policy is PaysiteManager's interpretation of those card network rules. It isn't Visa's or Mastercard's own wording, and it can change when their rules or our processors' requirements change. It follows standard card network practice, so it should look familiar if you've run a card-billed site before.
What processors look for
- Nothing illegal or non-consensual. No content may suggest or depict illegal or non-consensual activity. For bondage, that mostly comes down to framing: titles, descriptions, tags and categories should present scenes as consensual, so avoid storylines built around kidnapping, abduction or someone being taken against their will.
- No one under 18, real or implied. Content must never suggest that anyone involved is under 18. Avoid age-related wording (for example "teen") and storylines involving children, even as background characters.
- Some themes are restricted case by case. Some themes are restricted by processors or by laws in certain countries. For example, choking or strangulation content is restricted in the United Kingdom. These are reviewed case by case rather than banned outright.
Your content
Only upload content you own or have the rights to sell. You're responsible for the content on your store.
The word lists
We keep two lists of words: download the current word list (PDF). It's always up to date with the list we check against. Store owners can also see both lists in their dashboard: use the Content Policy button on the Content page, or on the add and edit content pages.
- Banned words aren't allowed in titles, descriptions, tags or categories.
- Warning words are allowed, but they can draw attention during processor reviews. They're often fine. It depends on how they're used. Read them in context, and if there's a clearer way to say it, use that instead.
The lists are a tool, not the whole policy:
- Content that breaks the rules isn't allowed even if no listed word appears.
- A listed word isn't always a problem. "Perfectly groomed toes" is fine. What matters is how the word is used.
When you add or edit content, the form checks your wording as you type and highlights any banned or warning words.
What happens when content uses banned words
From November 2, 2026: content sets that use certain banned words are disabled until the wording is changed. Your videos and photos aren't affected and nothing is deleted. If any of your sets are disabled, we'll email you a list with a direct link to edit each one. Change the title, description, tags or categories and save: the set is enabled again automatically once the new wording passes our check.
From December 1, 2026: new or edited content can't be saved if the title, description or tags use a banned word.
UK content restrictions: from November 2, 2026, content in the categories restricted by UK law is hidden from visitors in the United Kingdom on every store. It stays available in other regions. You'll see a UK Content Declaration question when you add or edit content. What's restricted in the UK and why.
